the first traditional style painted with mordern paint. so it will not fade
after an accident during setup the bottom half of this panel was bent and dented. so a new panel has been added
after being prepped. a powerful etch primer is applied. this eats into the metal panel and gives the following layers of paint some thing to stick to
now its time for a primer surfacer. this coating sticks to the etch and allows us to take out any imperfections in the panel ready for airbrushing
now its time to start with the art side of the job.
more and more layers are applied.
after a few clear coats the panel is ready to go back to the ride. and if you've hadn't seen this then you would've never known it had been repaired
